This will be the only room where we'll be painting. We don't like the colors and we want to turn this into a craft room for myself, at least for now. It will also be a guest bedroom.
Somehow, not taking advantage of this paint-job makes me feel wasteful. If we get lucky with the FSH cycle and get pregnant, we could leave the room as it is, especially if we get a girl.
On the other hand, if we don't get pregnant, this room will be a reminder of unfulfilled dreams.
So it's settled. We're painting. Any color suggestions will be accepted.
I think it is a great idea to re-paint. I could not live in a house with a ready baby room all set to go without the baby. Craft room or guest room is just perfect (at least for now). Good luck with everything !!!!

ReplyDeleteThe only undecorated room in our house (well, apart from my bedroom) is the room that would have been the baby's room.
ReplyDeleteNow that isn't going to happen, we really need to do something with it. For a while it was my office - and that made it much easier to cope with, rather than thinking of it as "the baby's room." A craft room is a great idea. ... and I'm currently thinking of turning my room into a walk-in wardrobe!
